Credit bearing certificates with an ecumenical focus

If you enjoy learning and want to expand your faith and deepen your knowledge in a particular area of study, certificates can help you do just that. Through our certificate program you will be immersed in an ecumenical, inter-cultural, inclusive learning community committed to sharing the transforming love of Jesus Christ and addressing the challenges facing our churches and communities.

Through our Certificate in Child Advocacy, fulfill your Christian calling to love God and serve neighbor through public ministries of advocacy, organizing, and justice-making on behalf of children.

Through our Certificate in Christian Education, you will study with one of the top Christian Education departments in the nation and develop skills for the practice of Christian education with adults, youth, and children in a wide variety of settings.

Through our Certificate in Ecological Regeneration, you can complete graduate courses in ecological theology, environmental ethics, and practical eco-theology to equip you for environmental ministries in diverse contexts for the sake of ecological healing and justice.

Through the Certificate in Evangelism and Church Planting, you will be equipped to articulate an understanding of evangelism that is authentic to your own experience of God’s goodness, faithful to the Christian tradition, and contextually relevant to enhance your ministry.

We offer courses in a variety of modalities to fit your schedule and learning needs. Most of our certificate programs can be completed through a combination of online and intensive in-person courses.

Earn credit towards a graduate degree

With our certificate program, you can earn 15 credit hours that can be used toward a graduate degree program.

Discern God’s call

If you are just beginning to feel called to ministry, aren’t yet sure where to begin, and want to “try” theological education without the larger time and financial commitment of a degree program, certificates are an affordable way to gain up to credit hours toward a degree program as you continue to discern God’s call in your life.
