Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary

The chapel ministry at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary provides opportunities to praise and worship God, to grow spiritually, and to learn together about ministries of preaching and worship.

Three patterns of worship in the Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary address different needs, schedules, and traditions within our community, as well as providing rich worship and learning experiences for those who can participate in all three. They are:

Word and Table Worship Service - Tuesdays at 11 a.m.

Following the Christian year and lectionary, celebrating weekly Eucharist, with organ accompaniment and the ministry of our Chapel Choir.

Gospel worship - Wednesdays at 6:10 p.m.

Featuring African American traditions of worship and music with piano accompaniment and the ministry of our Gospel Choir. The Eucharist is celebrated on the first Wednesday of each month

"Worship with a Beat" - Thursdays at 11 a.m.

Featuring a broad range of music with guitar, drums, and keyboard and ENHANCED through drama, dance and video projection.
