Named for Garrett-Evangelical’s founder Eliza Garrett, Eliza’s Kitchen and Closet is a community-sourced free-store where international and domestic students and community members can shop for the clothing, and housewares they need.

Donations to Eliza’s Kitchen and Closet
Donations of clean, new, or gently used, in good condition clothing, linens, dishes, cookware, utensils, small appliances, and household items are invited. Donations can be made at any time and placed on the receptacle provided in Loder Hall.
Clothing and Linens
-Clean, gently used, or new clothes (All sizes: adults and children).
-Seasonal outerwear (Raincoats, winter coats, hats, gloves, shoes, boots).
-Bedding (Pillow covers, blankets, sheets – Twin, Twin XL, Full)
Kitchen and Household
-Dishes and dinnerware of all styles: eating utensils, plates, flatware, glassware, coffee mugs, water bottles, etc.
-Cookware: serving utensils, knives, pots/pans, small kitchen appliances, and service pieces.
-Household items: lamps, small wall hangings, photo frames, hangers, backpacks, and luggage.
We do not currently accept books, though children’s books and textbooks of required courses at Garrett Seminary are welcome.
