Let’s Talk Globally and CAAM Webinar: Narratives on Myanmar and Christianity

Join us for a conversation with Rev. Dr. Khen Chum (GETS alum 2023; Associate Professor of New Testament, Chin Christian University, Burma) and Dr. Lama Htoi San Lu (Lily Teaching Fellow, Hartford International University) on “Burmese Church’s Response on the Military Coup Today.” We will discuss how the Burmese military terrorists displaced, arrested, and killed countless Christian Burmese. Envisioning the future of Burma/Myanmar where people can feel and experience justice, peace, and equality, we will also ruminate on the role of Burmese Christian Churches in response to ongoing civil war and militarized violence against humans and nonhumans. Lunch will be provided to in-person participants.
