Proclaiming Ethics
April 4 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join us for an inspiring keynote address by Emilie Townes, Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Religion and Black Studies at Boston University School of Theology, as she explores “Accountability Strategies for Preaching in Chaos.” Using the framework of wisdom, integrity, and perspective, Dr. Townes calls us to remain steadfast in the pursuit of justice and hope, reminding us that while there is much work to be done, we are capable of doing it together.
A distinguished panel of scholars will further engage this theme, featuring Rev. Dr. Cláudio Carvalhaes (Professor of Worship, Union Theological Seminary), Rev. Dr. Dong Hyeon Jeong (Assistant Professor of New Testament Interpretation, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary), Rev. Dr. Gennifer Brooks (Ernest and Bernice Styberg Professor of Preaching, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary), and Dr. Kate Ott (Jerre and Mary Joy Stead Professor of Christian Social Ethics, Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary).
Registration details will follow soon—stay tuned!
