New Leadership to Strengthen Garrett’s Commitment to the Student Experience

In our strategic plan, Garrett named the experience of our students as the seminary’s top priority. Today, we are delighted to announce the hiring for two administration positions dedicated to fulfilling that commitment: Whitney R. Harris has accepted a newly created position as Associate Vice President for Student Success, and Thehil Russelliah Singh will be our new Dean of Students. “If we are going to live out our commitment to student-centered education—especially given our increasingly diverse and global student body—we have to invest in really concrete ways to develop innovative systems that increase access and decrease barriers,” says Academic Dean Jen Harvey. “I’m so excited about the expertise, experience, and energy reflected in our new staffing in Academic Affairs, which is going to powerfully affect our work to create conditions in which Garrett students can flourish.”
